About LeeStock

LeeStock 2010

LeeStock is an annual music festival based in the market town of Sudbury, Suffolk. LeeStock is about music. It’s about people. It’s about fun and it’s definitely about remembering. It’s a little bit about football and a lot about bands. Whether you like listening to bands, spending time with your friends, raising money for charity or raising a drink to the legend that is Lee; LeeStock is what you need.

Starting in 2006, LeeStock was born when a bunch of Lee’s friends wanted to put on a tribute gig in the memory of music mad Lee Dunford who had sadly passed away earlier that year. The gig was a rip-roaring success, very well attended as be-fitting someone as popular as Lee.

Thank you

Thank you, thank you, thank youThank you, thank you, thank you.  This year’s LeeStock was an amazing experience.  We had rain, we had wind, but we also had a darn load of sunshine and many, many, happy, generous people.

Despite having to de-bunk the final two bands on Saturday inside due to a torrential downpour, Sunday went ahead as planned (with a slightly delayed kickoff) and was equally amazing.  We are hoping for photos and / or videos of LeeStock 2010 to be up on the site at some point so keep checking back.

FootyTo kick off the LeeStock festival weekend fun, we have the return of the Lee Dunford Memorial Cup.  Played each year between LeeStock Utd and Long Melford Razors FC, the LDMC is now in it’s 3rd year.

The first year was won by LeeStock Utd, but they were pipped last year by the Razors – so this year is a grudge match!
